Two guys were debating what makes good golf.

1. It's the clubs. It's the stance. It's the swing….

2. It's where the ball lands.

Trump is "where the ball lands." Ignore the mean tweets, the feistiness, the bravado, the exaggeration. The important result is "where the ball lands."

It's more than that, but what you describe is vitally important.

Yesterday, he said the federal government should (and presumably will, under his 2nd term) pull the license of CBS News for "election interference."

Doing something monumentally stupid, or. biased, as a broadcast news organization, is not a violation of the law. Nor is it a violation of FCC regulations. Trump is often not just illiterate regarding our Constitution, he represents a direct assault on its principles. And as Trump-worship becomes ingrained among a certain portion of his base, it manifests itself upstream within mainstream conservatism, because the Republican and conservative establishments refuse to stand up to him.

Example:

43% of Republicans believe President Trump “should have the authority to close news outlets engaged in bad behavior.”

The difference between electing him and Harris, as a wise friend of mine pointed out, is that if he does something unconstitutional, the entirety of DC and academia will come down on his head like a box of hammers. If Harris does something unconstitutional, the entirety of the Democrat-Media Complex (h/t Andrew Breitbart), the Democratic Party, the "news" media, Hollywood and academia will fall on their own swords to protect her, and claim anyone who opposes her is a "racist."

That is the reality we are facing on Nov. 5.

So far Trump hasn't done anything unconstitutional. Compare to José Bidet and ¡Que Mala! and their entire cabinet (and Obama's too).

Trump has repeatedly suggested doing things that are unconstitutional.

Compared to the provable crimes against our Constitution perpetrated by Obama and Biden, however, his suggestions are of little concern.
